Development history

2017
Established in Shanghai. In the same year, OnePlus Optimist mould passed the measurement by the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA) and obtained certification and approval from the International Sailing Federation, and thus gained the qualification to manufacture racing class Optimist boats.
2018
OnePlus Boat launched China’s first Optimist training dinghy built with triple-layer foamed PE—impact-resistant, UV-stable and low-maintenance.
2019
May – Supplied all race boats for the 2nd China National Youth Games (Optimist class). June – Provided the race boat for the 2019 National Optimist Championship qualifiers.(Optimist class).
2020
Official Optimist equipment supplier to both the National Optimist Championship and National Optimist Champions Cup.
2021
Retained as Optimist equipment supplier for the National Optimist Championship and National Optimist Champions Cup.
2022
Continued role as Optimist equipment supplier for the National Optimist Championship and National Optimist Champions Cup.
2023
Supplied Optimist equipment for the National Optimist Championship and Champions Cup, and became the official boat supplier for the 1st National Student Youth Games Optimist event.
2024
Equipment supplier for both the National Optimist Championship and Champions Cup. Also supplied the North American Optimist Championship—leveraging proven reliability to break into the U.S. racing market.
2025
January – Supplied Optimist boats for the 2024 Optimist Asia & Oceania Championship, serving 20+ national teams across Asia and Oceania. February – Official boat supplier for the 2025 National Optimist Champions Cup.
